One of the most frequent questions our studio receives — from clients in Belgrade, Montenegro, Germany, and abroad — is the same: "What will the renovation actually cost?" The honest answer is always: it depends. But you don't need to wait for a site visit to get a meaningful, structured estimate. You can build one in 60 seconds.
Today we are publishing a free interactive tool: the Renovation Cost Calculator.

→ Open the CalculatorWhat it does
You enter a handful of parameters — apartment size, bathroom area, kitchen linear length, number of doors and windows, quality tier, and location. The calculator generates a fully itemized cost breakdown across 11 categories and roughly 30 line items:
- Demolition and disposal
- Structural / masonry alterations
- Electrical rough-in and finish work
- Plumbing rough-in and HVAC
- Plastering, screed, and drywall
- Tiling — bathroom and kitchen, labor and material separately
- Painting and wall finishing
- Flooring (parquet/laminate, material and installation)
- Interior doors, front door, and windows
- Sanitary fittings per bathroom
- Custom kitchen and built-in appliances
Every cost is editable
The defaults are based on average Belgrade market rates (May 2026), but every quantity and every unit price can be overridden. If your tiler quotes €30/m² for installation instead of our default €25, change the number — the total recalculates instantly. If you don't need a built-in closet, click the × to remove the row. This is not a black-box estimator; it is a transparent spreadsheet built into the page.
Three quality tiers, three locations
The same model handles three quality levels (Standard / Premium / Luxury) and three location multipliers (Belgrade / Montenegro / Abroad). A 65 m² two-room renovation comes out around €26,000 at Standard in Belgrade, around €38,000 at Premium, and around €61,000 at Luxury. A three-room renovation abroad with premium fittings clears €60,000 quickly.
Where the numbers come from
The pricing model is calibrated against our internal RenovationSteps templates — the same data we use to plan studio projects for studio, two-room, and three-room apartments. These templates list every phase, every task, every material category, with prices reflecting actual contractor rates we work with in Serbia and the region.
Use it as a starting point
This calculator is orientational, not a binding offer. Real estimates depend on site conditions, the state of existing installations, finishing material choices, and contractor availability. Treat the output as a baseline for budget planning — then send us the numbers for a free 30-minute consultation, and we'll convert your estimate into a precise project proposal.
